Combining punk, street rock and metal, Norwegian Silver arrive in Finland after six years’ break for three shows. The mini tour starts at Lutakko, Jyväskylä on February 26th and continues at Bar Loose, Helsinki and Klubi, Tampere the following nights. At Lutakko, the stage will be warmed up by Saralee and at Klubi by The Blanko and Suicide Love Boat.

Founded in the 90’s, Silver have often been compared to Turbonegro, Backyard Babies and Social Distortion. The band’s debut album ”White Diary” was released in 2004 and it immediately made the six-piece one of their native country’s most popular bands. ”White Diary” led Silver to tour Europe, America and Japan and the band have indeed enjoyed worldwide cult fame ever since. Silver’s latest, third album ”Wolf Chasing Wolf” was released in early 2009.

Shows at Lutakko and Klubi are all ages but Bar Loose is 22+. Tickets to Lutakko cost 6€ and they are available at www.jelmu.net. For Jelmu members, the show is free of charge. Advance tickets to Bar Loose are available at Tiketti for the price of 10€ +possible handling charge. Tickets at the door cost 12€. Tickets to Tampere are available at Klubi, Epe’s and Swamp for the price of 7€.
