One of Denmark's most popular indie bands, Efterklang , will arrive in Finland on their album release tour in spring. The band's show at Korjaamo's Vaunusali on April 7th will be opened by American Heather Broderick who also plays in Efterklang's live line-up.

Founded in Copenhagen in 2000, Efterklang is all about flamboyant indie music spiced up with church organs, boy choirs and string sections. The band broke through internationally with their sophomore album "Parades" (2007) that featured 30 guest musicians and was critically acclaimed as comparable to the greatness of Radiohead's "OK Computer".

Efterklang's third studio album "Magic Chairs" will be released on February 22nd. The band have described the album as their most straightforward, easiest release. In the end of January, the band will also release a cd+dvd package "Performing Parades" that was awarded as the best dvd release in Denmark last year.

Advance tickets cost 15€ +possible handling charge and they are available at Tiketti & Lippupiste. For Korjaamo members, advance tickets cost 13,50€ +possible handling charge. Tickets at the door cost 17€ and for Korjaamo members, 15,50€.
