Dec 15 2009: Oh No Ono return to Finland

Danish Oh No Ono return to Finland shortly after opening for Mew in Helsinki Ice Hall in November. This time, the band will perform at Kuudes Linja on February 15th.

Combining synth pop and new wave indie rock, Oh No Ono are one of Denmark's most popular bands. Oh No Ono debuted with ep "Now You Know Oh No Ono" in 2005 but really got things going a few years later at Eurosonic showcase which earned the band tens of festival performances throughout Europe. Oh No Ono debut album "Yes" was released at around the same time. Their sophomore full length "Eggs" will be released worldwide on January 29th. The first single "Swim" has had loads of airplay and its video has become an internet hit leaving behind indie favourites like Grizzly Bear and MGMT as the most watched video at Pitchfork.tv.

In addition to the Mew concert, Oh No Ono have performed in Finland at Provinssirock and Tavastia, both in 2007. Over the years, the band have shared stages with The Pipettes, Kashmir and Au Revoir Simone, to name but a few. Tickets for the Kuudes Linja show are available now at Tiketti for the price of 10€ +possible handling charge.
