Oct 28 2009: Skindred (UK) arrive in Finland

British Skindred arrive in Finland after a seven years' break to play a show at Tavastia on February 2nd. Combining punk rock, metal and reggae into resourceful ragga metal, the band have recently released their latest album "Shark Bites and Dog Fights". Having been together for over 10 years now, Skindred are known as a wild live band - Britain's best, as Kerrang puts it - who have often been compared to Bad Brains and Asian Dub Foundation. Thanks to their continuous gigging and long-span hard work, Skindred have a fanatic following around the world.

During the years, Skindred have toured with Disturbed, Korn, Gogol Bordello and Flogging Molly, to name but a few. The band were supposed to arrive in Finland to support Bullet For My Valentine last winter but the concert was cancelled the last minute due to an illness. The forthcoming show is organised in collaboration with Tavastia and Rokkizine.fi.
