British electro sensation Fuck Buttons return to Helsinki to celebrate the release of their sophomore album. In summer 2008, they sold out Kuudes Linja and now they are ready to climb back on the same stage on December 2nd. The duo have grown to be one of the hottest names of new British alternative music after quickly abandoning the harsh noise delivery of their early stage and finding their own sound somewhere from the middle ground of brutal noise, beautiful melodies and classic rock structures - no wonder they've been called the bridge between more classic electronic music and noise rock.

Fuck Buttons' debut "Street Horrrsing" (2008) received a warm welcome both in the indie scene and outside of it: to name but a few, Mojo, Uncut and Observer magazines highlighted it as the underground album of the month. The band's second full length "Tarot Sport", produced by the renowned Andrew Weatherall, was released by ATP earlier this month. "Tarot Sport" is a step towards more danceable and melodic delivery and justly, it earned a courtesy title of "Best New Music" in Pitchfork. In between the two albums, Fuck Buttons have gigged around the globe with the likes of Mogwai, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Liars.

The stage of Kuudes Linja will be warmed up by Moby Dictator, the solo project of Tuomas Laitinen from Them Shepherds. The dj's of the night, Fat&Ez are known for club C.U.N.T.
