Aug 26 2010: POST ROCK BANDS OCEANSIZE AND VESSELS TO FINLAND
British post rock bands Oceansize and Vessels arrive in Finland on Oceansize's forthcoming album release tour. The bands will perform at Kuudes Linja, Helsinki on October 19 and at Yo-talo, Tampere the following night as part of Lost in Music festival.
Founded in Manchester in 1998, Oceansize have released three albums and their fourth full-length "Self Preserved While The Bodies Float Up" will be put out in Finland on September 8. According to the band, the new album is their heaviest release by far. Previously, Oceansize have only visited Finland at Ilosaarirock in 2008.
Oceansize's extensive European tour will be supported by another British post rock band Vessels, who just completed the recordings of their sophomore album. Tickets to the forthcoming Finnish shows are now for sale.
