Aug 23 2010: Oneohtrix Point Never (USA) to Club Freaks

Experimental electro artist Oneohtrix Point Never will pay his first visit to Finland early autumn. Described as a combination of Animal Collective, Brian Eno and The Knife, Oneohtrix Point Never will perform at Club YK's Thursday club Freaks on September 16.

Oneohtrix Point Never, aka Daniel Lopatin, combines ambient, cosmic kraut rock, winding noise and experimental electro pop in the name of 80's electronic movie scores. His latest release, vinyl single "Returnal" was recorded with Antony and the Johnsons vocalist Antony Hegarty. The similarly titled album was put out earlier in the summer. The artist also released a compilation album "Rifts" late last year and his discography even includes a split vinyl single with Finnish Jan Anderzen alias Tomutonttu.

Tickets to the show cost 10€ +possible handling charge and they are available at Tiketti.
