Aug 12 2010: Sweatmaster: new album and tour
"What if Josh Homme joined The Hives?" - Spin Magazine (US) on Sweatmaster Sweatmaster's fourth album "Dig Up the Knife" will see the light of day on August 25th. The new album consists of 11 tracks of sweaty, angular rock'n'roll combined with new flourishes, including echoes of Queens of the Stone Age and even Danzig. "Dig Up the Knife" was recorded at Studio 57 and it was produced by Jürgen Hendlmeier (Flaming Sideburns, Baby Woodrose etc). The album's second single "Run Run" is now available as a free download at the band's homepage www.sweatmaster.net. The first single from the album, "Turnover", was released in May on 7" vinyl, getting radio play on stations such as YleX and Radio Rock in Finland. "Dig Up the Knife" will also be released in Germany in cooperation with Rookie Records, and it will also be released in Sweden, Holland, Belgium, Spain, US and Canada.
