One of today's most interesting British alternative artists, singer/songwriter Scout Niblett, will pay her first visit to Finland in November. The artist will perform at Tavastia on November 10.

Emma Louise "Scout" Niblett was born in Great Britain but she has spent the last couple of years in Portland, USA. Niblett is a productive artist and she has released six studio albums and several singles and ep's since the beginning of her career in 2001. Released in January by Drag City, her latest album "The Calcination of Scout Niblett” was once again produced by alternative music super star Steve Albini.

Niblett's minimalistic music draws from the likes of Nirvana, PJ Harvey and Sonic Youth and she has often been called a combination of Cat Power around the release of "Moon Pix" and Nirvana around the release of "In Utero".

Tickets to the forthcoming show cost 13€ +possible handling charge and they will be available at Tiketti on August 11. Tickets at the door cost 15€.
