Jun 30 2010: A Storm of Light (USA) to Nosturi

American post metal band A Storm Of Light will pay their first visit in Finland in late autumn. The band will perform at Nosturi on October 21.

Guitarist/vocalist Josh Graham left Red Sparowes in 2008 to focus on his new band A Storm Of Light. The original line-up included bassist Domenic Seita (Tombs) and drummers Vinny Signorelli (Unsane, Foetus) and Pete Angevine (Satanized) but the current line-up consists of Graham and Seita and varying musicians.

A Storm Of Light's debut album ”And We Wept The Black Ocean Within” (2008) received a successor last autumn when the band's sophomore album ”Forgive Us Our Trespasses” featuring, for example, New York based artist Lydia Lunch was released.

The forthcoming show will be opened by domestic Oranssi Pazuzu who combines elements from black metal, kraut rock and psychedelic rock alike. The all ages show is organized in cooperation with Imperiumi.net. Tickets to the show cost 16€ +possible handling charge and they will be available at Tiketti on July 5.
