Combining indie and electro funk, American YACHT will visit Finland with their new band The Straigth Gaze to perform at Club YK on August 24.

YACHT are strongly personified in "indie rock's Timbaland", Jona Bechtolt. Excelling as a musician, artist and remixer alike, Bechtolt has played in Devendra Banhart's band and Dirty Projectors in addition to his own projects.

Vocalist Claire L. Evans has officially been a member of YACHT during the last couple of years. She first featured the band's breakthrough album ”I Believe in You. Your Magic is Real.” (2007) and the duo's latest album "See Mystery Lights" was released last autumn. Currently, YACHT & The Straight Gaze are touring as a five-piece.

The stage will be warmed up by American Bobby Birdman who is known for his psychedelic electro pop. Tickets to the forthcoming show cost 12€ +possible handling charge and they are available at Tiketti.
