Disco Ensemble's fourth album "The Island of Disco Ensemble" will be released next week, on May 26, as cd, vinyl, download and limited cd&book package. Recorded under producer Lasse Kurki's lead, the album includes 10 tracks from straightforward punk rock in "White Flag for Peace" to atmospheric "Get Some Sleep" and from hyperactive "So Cold" to epic "Samantha".

"The Island of Disco Ensemble" will be available for pre-listening at YleX's website. The album is also YleX's album of the week.

The first singles of the album, "White Flag for Peace" and "Protector", have been in heavy rotation on several domestic and international radio and music television channels through the spring. Directed by Sami Sänpäkkilä, the video for "Protector" has just been finished off and it can be seen here.

Disco Ensemble will celebrate the album release by throwing a gig at Tavastia, Helsinki on May 29 as part of the YleXPop event. In the summer, the band will perform at festivals around Europe and embark on a club tour in the autumn.
