GARAGE BAND MONOTONIX RETURN TO FINLAND
Chaotic Israeli garage band Monotonix will return to Finland and perform at Lepakkomies, Helsinki on May 17.
Described as Israel's loudest and one of today's wackiest bands, Monotonix combine punk, garage rock and metal and deliver the outcome in a wild, unpredictable way. Consequently, the trio have been banned from virtually every club in their native country. Last summer, the band played on Liberte's bar and managed to knock out a female fan!
Monotonix' debut album "Where Were You When It Happened" was released last autumn. The band will release a vinyl 7" "Never Died Before" next month.
The stage will be warmed up by cartoon artist Jyrki Nissinen's cult band Seksihullut. Tickets cost 8€ and they are only available at the door.
