Disco Ensemble's fourth studio album "The Island of Disco Ensemble" will be released worldwide on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. The band have worked on the new full length since last summer under producer Lasse Kurki's lead. The end result includes ten tracks and it will be released as cd, download and vinyl and a limited book & cd package.

The first single of the album "White Flag for Peace" is currently in rotation on several radio stations and the video for the song can be seen on The Voice and MTV Finland.

Disco Ensemble's eighth studio diary part was published today and the diary will go on for the whole spring at www.youtube.com/discoensembleTV. Today's episode showcases the cover art of the forthcoming album: "Birth of an Island" painting by American artist Ryan Browning.

To celebrate the album release, Disco Ensemble will perform at Tavastia, Helsinki on Saturday, May 29 as part of the YleX-Pop event. The show is the band's sole performance in southern Finland this spring. In addition to standard tickets, ticket & album packages will also be available. Tickets are available at Tiketti on Tuesday April 6.
