Mar 12 2010: Medeia in studio + tour with Nicole

Metal band Medeia have started the recordings of their forthcoming album in their own studio. The band will record the long-player themselves under drummer Janne "Japi" Putkisaari's lead. The yet untitled album is due in autumn 2010.

"The forthcoming album includes the most versatile and interesting material we've released this decade", says Medeia's bassist Samuli "Lepervomit" Kuusinen.

After the first studio sessions, the band will embark on a Finnish tour with Nicole. Medeia have promised to play about five new songs on each show of the "Kumman kaa" tour.

"Writing and creating these tracks has been a laborious, time-consuming process so I'm really looking forward to finishing the record and going on tour", says guitarist Samuli "Sampe" Peltola who also writes lyrics and composes most of the songs.

The forthcoming album will continue the apocalypse theme started on "Quantum Holocaust | World Domination" (2006) and Cult (2008) and end the album trilogy.
