Feb 22 2010: PSYCHOBILLY BAND GRAVEYARD JOHNNYS (UK) RETURN TO FINLAND
Young Welsh psychobilly band Graveyard Johnnys arrive in Finland in March. The show at Bar Loose on March 6th ends the trio's first Finnish tour. The stage is warmed up by Scandinavian Hanks.
Even though Graveyard Johnnys draw inspiration from 50's rock'n'roll, their sound with punk attitude is contemporary and characteristic of no one else but them. The trio released their debut ep "Streetblocks and City Lights" in the end of 2008 and have since toured Europe with the likes of Goldblade, Guana Batz, Demented Are Go and Mad Sin.
Graveyard Johnnys were last seen in Finland last September when they supported legendary psychobilly band The Meteors at Yo-Talo, Tampere. The band impressed their audience and have been an awaited Finland visitor ever since.
The show at Bar Loose is 22+. Doors are opened at 8 pm.The show is organized in co-operation with Rock Out Promotions and Hellbilly Crew. Tickets cost 12€ +possible handling charge and they are available at Tiketti.
