Feb 12 2010: Hot Water Music (USA) finally to Finland

American punk rock band Hot Water Music will finally arrive in Finland after 15 years' waiting. Recently reunited after a long break, Hot Water Music will perform at Nosturi on June 16th.

Combining punk rock, post hardcore and folk punk, Hot Water Music released their debut album "Finding The Rhythms" in 1995 and gained immediate recognition that has only grown since. The band announced a break at their peak popularity in 2005 but already in 2006, they split up. One of the two vocalists, gruff-voiced Chuck Ragan started a solo career and the rest formed a band called The Draft. In 2008, Hot Water Music reunited and they have played some selected shows around the world since.

Hot Water Music's latest album "The New What Next" was released in 2004, after which they released a rarity collection "Till The Wheels Fall Off" (2008). In 2009, Chuck Ragan played at sold-out Bar Loose in Helsinki and at Kickstart Festival in Jyväskylä.

The show at Nosturi is all ages. Tickets cost 22€ and the will be available at Tiketti and Lippupalvelu on February 15th.
