PITKÄ KUUMA KESÄ 2006 Kahtena viimeisenä kesänä Fullsteam on tehnyt parhaansa, jotta Suomen suvi olisi mahdollisimman pitkä ja kuuma. Kylmän ja sateisen pohjolan kesä kestää vain hetken, miksi emme nauttisi siitä täysin siemauksin? Pitkä kuuma kesä 2006 koostui ensimmäisen vuoden tapaan klubikeikoista, festareista ja ilmaistapahtumista. Keikkamyyntitoimistomme toi maahan lukuisia bändejä ja omat yhtyeemme kiersivät pitkin Suomea sekä Eurooppaa. Festivaalien lisäksi tapahtumasarjan kohokohdiksi nousivat Tavastialla järjestetyt kesäklubit, joilla nähtiin niin punkkia ja vaihtoehtorockia kuin räppiä ja metallia. Erityisesti mieleen jäivät myös ilmaistapahtumamme Pori Jazzien aikaan Anniksen pihalla sekä Alppipuiston juhlat kesän viimeisenä hellepäivänä. HOT LONG SUMMER 2006 During the last two summers Fullsteam folks have tried to do their best so that the Finnish summer would be as long and hot as possible. Our cold and rainy summer only lasts for such a short while so let´s try to get the most out of it! Pitkä Kuuma Kesä 2006 (aka. ‘Hot Long Summer‘) was a series of club gigs, festivals and free events. During the summer Fullsteam's booking agency brought dozens of foreign bands to Finland while our Finnish bands were touring around Finland and the rest of Europe. In addition to festivals, the club events at Tavastia with all kinds of music from punk to hiphop and indie to heavy metal were again the highlights of this years Pitkä Kuuma Kesä. I would like to mention, especially the free admission parties during Pori Jazz at Annis and in Alppipuisto in Helsinki on the last hot day of the summer.
