Ewert and The Two Dragons is an Estonian indie-rock band from Tallinn. Debut album “The Hills Behind The Hills” was recorded in 3 days at the summer cottage of Ewert`s in-laws and was released in October 2009.
Band gained instant recognition and intimate and emotional concerts in the clubs of Tallinn and Tartu were always sold out. In May 2010, the Dragons started their first Baltic tour and gave concerts across the Baltics - in Riga, Sigulda, Liepaja and Klaipeda. Today, they are one of the very few Estonian acts who have managed to win over also Latvian and Lithuanian music lovers.
On May 25th 2010, Ewert and The Two Dragons had the privilege to be the opening act of TEDxTallinn conference starring the brightest Estonian thinkers, artists, authors, scientist etc.
On the 17th of July 2010, under the pine trees and summer sky of Salacgriva, Ewert and The Two Dragons gave a stunning concert at the biggest Baltic music festival – Positivus that Finnish music magazine Rumba called “the best of the entire festival”.
On the 25th of September, Ewert and The Two Dragons signed a record deal with Latvian indie label I Love You records. Second album “Good man Down” was released in the beginning of April 2011 and received wide critical acclaim.
First single off the album, “(In The End) There`s Only Love” gained momentum in all 3 Baltic countries. Album “Good Man Down” was #1 on Icelandic digital platform Gogogyoko for weeks.
