Knucklebone Oscar is Scandinavias best kept show secret. Half human, half ape and hailing from Helsinki Finland, Oscar`s music is best described as electrifying “ADD-blues.” With a healthy dose of garage rock flavour & punk energy, Knucklebone Oscar`s music and wild performing style evoke images of Chuck Berry on speed or maybe Little Richard`s half ape little brother on guitar. Oscar and his quartet are determined to bring you the most exhausting kick-ass live show of your life with hard grinding guitar pyrotechnics, hyper-active moves, trash voodoo mystique, masked marvels, jungle specialities, axes, wailing megaphones and freaks of nature. It`s a truck load of bad Ju-Ju and a mojo supercharge!
Knucklebone Oscar belongs to the same Finnish underground scene likeThe Flaming Sideburns and Sweatmaster. Oscar has been touring and recording actively in Finland for over ten years. His latest release “It`s a Psychoblues Freakshow!” was released (through Kap Kan Records in Russia) only recently in 2006. Oscar and his band of axe-wielding maniacs are now hungrily looking to conquer the rest of the world.
