Founded in Seattle in 1987, The Posies gained worldwide recognition especially with their two masterpieces "Frosting on the Beater" (1993) and "Amazing Disgrace" (1996). The band released their seventh studio album "Blood/Candy" on September 21. The Posies have performed in Finland several times and their two frontmen Ken Stringfellow and Jon Auer have also played solo and duo shows here and visited Finland with The Disciplines and White Flag alike.
