The founders of the legendary Norton label, Billy Miller and Miriam Linna, return to Finland after nearly 30 years with their band The A-Bones. They will perform at Tavastia, Helsinki on July 7 and at Klubi, Tampere the next night. Drawing from frat rock, rockabilly and 60s garage rock, Miller and Linna's long-standing band The A-Bones originally split up in 1994 but have recently returned to stages. Their latest album "Not Now!" was released in 2009 and it was produced by Matt Verta-Ray from Heavy Trash. The album features, for example, Andy Shernoff from The Dictators and legendary r'n'b organist Dave "Baby" Cortezia.
The Helsinki show will be supported by instrumental rock band The Atomic Blast and rockabilly group Mike Bell & The Belltones. Tickets cost 17€ +possible handling charge and they will be available at Tiketti on May 10. Tickets at the door cost 19€. The Tampere show will be supported by psychobilly band The Vulture Club and rock group Sweet Jenna & Her Sweethearts. Tickets cost 15€ +possible handling charge and they will be available at Tiketti on May 10.
