German doom jazz band Bohren & Der Club of Gore will pay their awaited first visit in Finland on April 23rd when the band will be seen at Nosturi.
Trio Thorsten Benning, Morten Gass and Reiner Henseleit started playing grindcore, hardcore punk and metal in the end of 80's and founded their current band in 1992. A few years later, the band abandoned guitars and nowadays their music consists solely of electric piano, sax, bass and drums.
Bohren & Der Club of Gore's music echoes in the sound of Black Sabbath's and Sunn O)))'s metal, Portishead's dark ambient, Autopsy's extreme metal and David Lynch's composer Angelo Badalament's dreamy film atmospheres. The band's sixth album "Dolores" was released in 2008.
The all ages concert is organized in co-operation with Nosturi and Sue magazine. Tickets cost 18€ +possible handling charge and they will be available at Tiketti and Lippupalvelu on February 18th.
