Since early childhood, Kuti was influenced by his father's, legendary Fela Kuti's, music. The ambassador of afro beat, Nigerian Femi Kuti will perform at Kulttuuritalo, Helsinki on April 28th.
Since early childhood, Kuti was influenced by his father's, legendary Fela Kuti's, music. The artist is known not just as a skilled musician but also as a fervent abolitionist for the raging corruption in Nigeria. Kuti's latest album "Day by Day" was released in 2008 and the artist was last seen here in Finland at Ilosaarirock last year.
The concert is organized in co-operation with Eastway. Tickets are already for sale at Menolippu for the price of 44€ +possible handling charge. They will also become available at Tiketti and Lippupalvelu on Monday, February 1st.
