The story tells that Phillip "LandPhil" Hall from Municipal Waste and his brother Josh "HellHammer" Hall couldn't think of anything better to do than smoke pot and listen to Cannibal Corpse so they decided to start singing the praises of their two favourite things in a band. They called the band Cannabis Corpse, which seems like nothing but a fair thing to do, and asked a few like-minded fellows to join them. Combining death and thrash metal, this party band sing about zombies stealing weed stashes and secret cults fertilising their cursed cannabis with human blood. Cannabis Corpse have released two official recordings, mcd "Blunted at Birth" (2006) and debut full length ”Tube of the Resinated” (2008). Their new ep "The Weeding" is due in November.
Now this mayhem of a band are scheduled to arrive in Finland for the first time to play a show at Tavastia on February 13th. The bill is completed with "Finland's Municipal Waste", highly appraised thrash metal band Delta Force 2 which can only mean one thing - the party's on and you'd better join in! Tickets in advance at Tiketti 15€ + handling charge and at the door 17€.
